The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and the European Innovation Council (EIC) are accepting applications for the 2027 European Prize for Women Innovators, with a top award of €100,000. The prize is awarded in three categories:
- Women Innovators, for women founders and co-founders from the EU and countries associated with Horizon Europe. Prizes: €100,000, €70,000 and €50,000.
- Rising Innovators, for women innovators under the age of 35. Prizes: €50,000, €30,000 and €20,000.
- EIT Women Leadership, for members of the EIT Community. Prizes: €50,000, €30,000 and €20,000.
Applications are submitted on the EU Funding & Tenders portal in line with the Rules of Contest. Each application must include a video message of up to 90 seconds in which the applicant describes herself and her achievements. Rising Innovators applicants must also provide proof of age. The award ceremony will take place in the second quarter of 2027.
Armenia has been fully associated with Horizon Europe since February 11, 2022, which allows Armenian researchers and innovators to take part in the programme on the same terms as organisations from EU member states.
