Maker of Armenian spirit Accent in talks on exports to Europe and Central Asia

Alcosphere LLC, which produces the new Armenian spirit Accent, is negotiating exports to Europe and Central Asia and already has a partner in Bulgaria. Its current production capacity is 3,000–3,500 bottles a year. Ruben Topalyan, founder of Alcosphere LLC, said this in an interview with BusinessDaily.

According to Topalyan, terms with the Bulgarian partner are still being agreed. “It is in progress now: clarifying the relationship, pricing decisions,” he explained. The drink holds certificates of conformity with European Union and Eurasian Economic Union requirements.

Alcosphere, the producer of Accent, was founded in 2022, but construction of the workshop and testing took a long time. Actual production began at the end of 2025. The drink is 40% ABV: a multiple-distilled apple spirit with lemon, ginger and honey. According to Topalyan, it is made using a new technology that has not yet been patented; registration is under way. Accent 1 is currently produced, and the company plans versions with different ingredients, up to Accent 7.

“We can produce 3,000 to 3,500 bottles a year. No more at the moment,” Topalyan noted. In his words, the contents of the bottle are made entirely by hand. The drink is sold in specialised spirits shops and the HoReCa segment (hotels, restaurants, cafés), and the company intends to enter supermarkets as well.
