What data we collect

The site requires no personal data to read its content. During a visit the following is recorded automatically: IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, pages viewed and visit duration.

Additional data is collected only as a result of your action: email address when subscribing to the newsletter, message content when contacting the newsroom.

Why we collect it

Technical data serves site availability, protection against attacks and audience statistics. Email addresses are used solely to send the newsletter. We do not sell or pass your data to third parties, other than the services listed below.

Cookies

The site uses cookies to remember your language choice, maintain your session and collect statistics. Cookies can be disabled in your browser settings; in that case the language choice will not persist.

Third-party services

The site uses Google Analytics for audience statistics, Mailchimp for newsletter delivery, YouTube for video playback and Cloudflare for content delivery. These services may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Your rights

You have the right to obtain the data held about you, to request its correction or deletion, and to unsubscribe via the link in any newsletter. Send requests to info@businessdaily.am. We respond within 30 days.

Data is processed in accordance with the Republic of Armenia Law on Protection of Personal Data. For residents of the European Union, GDPR provisions also apply.

Retention

Statistical data is kept for 26 months. Subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe. Messages to the newsroom are kept for three years.
