Armenia holds AMD 70 billion of government bond auctions on its stock exchange

Government bond auctions totalling AMD 70 billion (about $194.3 million) were held on the Armenia Stock Exchange (AMX) on October 29.

According to AMX, AMD 40 billion of 11-year bonds, ISIN AMGB1129A357, were placed. The weighted average yield was 8.8186%, with an annual coupon of 9%.

The buyback auction for 3-year bonds, ISIN AMGN36294293, amounted to AMD 15 billion at a weighted average yield of 7.8721% (coupon 7.40%). The buyback auction for 5-year bonds, ISIN AMGN60294318, also came to AMD 15 billion, at a yield of 8.1792% (coupon 7.60%).

Government bonds are available both on the Armenia Stock Exchange trading platform and through the gp.minfin.am online platform.
