Armenia’s average nominal wage at AMD 320,763 in July, up 5.3%
According to the Statistical Committee of Armenia, the average monthly nominal wage in Armenia was AMD 320,763 (about $874) in July 2026. This was up 5.3% on July 2025 and 3.9% on June.
In the public sector, the average wage was AMD 284,963, up 8.1% year on year. Compared with June, public sector wages rose by 14%.
In the non-public sector, the average wage was AMD 333,834 (+4.3%). Compared with June, it rose by 1%.
The highest average wage in 2026 was recorded in March at AMD 329,167. March was also the only month when wages fell year on year, by 1.2%.
The indicator is calculated using the State Revenue Committee’s income tax and social payment records.
