Armenia’s 10th payment and settlement organization registered

The Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia has granted “ALE PAY” Closed Joint-Stock Company a license to carry out monetary (money) transfers. The company can thus operate as a payment and settlement organization.

By decision of the Board of the Central Bank, the company’s managers have been registered:

• Executive Director: Artyom Baghdasaryan
• Chief Accountant: Robert Melikyan

Both decisions of the Central Bank were adopted on the basis of the opinion of the Licensing and Supervision Committee of 2 September 2026 (Minutes No. 42). The applications and attached documents submitted by the company from June to August 2026 were also taken into account.

The decisions enter into force on the day following their official delivery to the company.

“ALE PAY” CJSC was registered in the State Register of Legal Entities of the Republic of Armenia on 27 May 2026.

Including “ALE PAY” CJSC, there are 10 payment and settlement organizations operating in Armenia.
