Armenian dram strengthens 0.6% against the US dollar in October
The Armenian dram strengthened 0.6% against the US dollar in October 2026 compared with September. According to the Statistical Committee of Armenia, the average calculated dram-to-dollar rate in October was AMD 361.6, against AMD 382.7 in October 2025.
Over the year, the dollar became AMD 21.1, or 5.5%, cheaper (BusinessDaily calculation). The Statistical Committee uses exchange rates set by the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA).
Consumer prices rose 0.3% in the same month, and annual inflation was 4.3%.
